Doing our part to help the Ohio State Reformatory

brick
Today we received word that our sponsored brick has been installed at the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio.

In February of this year, we we went to the Ohio State Reformatory for a murder/mystery dinner and we stopped by the next day to take yet another tour and say hello to our friends there.

We decided we would like to help and show our support to the Mansfield Reformatory Preservation Society and sponsor a brick that was to be placed in the entryway courtyard.   The call this program the “Embrace the Past” program and funds collected from the sales of the bricks go to help the preservation of the beautiful building.

If you have not been there before or even recently, you need to check out the societies efforts, because they are doing a wonderful job!

If you would like to show your support as well, you can find out more about the program here.
We hope to stop out there sometime soon to see our brick and to get some more pictures.
